Cool! Congratulations!! 
For non-Norwegian speakers:
Anneli has won the Nordlys prize in Tromsø.(Nordlys is Tromsø's local newpaper, right? )
It is some kind of hommage to her musical career, and they're saying she has, with her music, contributed with a "North Norwegian" sound that the world didn't know of before.
In the end of the interview she also says she is planning new musical projects and that Bel Canto are going to perform in Japan in the end of February |

Does anyone know anything more about the two Japanese performances? There's nothing on the official website yet...

Anneli wrote on her myspace page in the upcoming shows part "Sapporo 24/02/2007 - Bel Canto - open air concert".
It seems that it is during the nordic world ski championships...
