Check them out here:

She sings "Vision one" + "You don't have a clue" +"True to life".

I am impressed indeed. These tracks are really brilliant. It is not possible to be disappointed by their music.

"You Don't Have a Clue" is a great title, I haven't checked the song out yet but it's bound to be a smash Smile

I've been listening to the streaming on Royksopp's home page and it sounds amazing, I especially like Anneli's influence on their music, it really takes it to another level, A M A Z I N G

There will be an interview with Röyksopp on Norwegian TV NRK1 tonight (Wednesday March 18 ) on the show called Lydverket, at 23:15-23:54 (GMT+1h).

They will also have an interview with Röyksopp-friend Karin Dreijer (The Knife), about her solo project Fever Ray.

I haven't seen this show before, but it appears it will be on the net too, both live streaming and available for later viewing.
Tonight's show will also be rerun on NRK3 on Friday March 20, at 19:30.

So, stay tuned tonight?! Smile

So many beautiful voices in one album! Very Happy
My favourite songs so far are "Vision One", "The girl and the robot" and "This must be it", but all the other tracks are wonderful as well!

The interview at Lydverket was a little hard to follow though.
I was only listening to their distorted voices. Razz

I'm not sure if it's a Linux vs Windows thing, but it doesn't work here. Sad (I use Ubuntu).

I'm not that familiar with Ubuntu, but this is a .wmv-video file.
Try to use this link instead in your browser, mediaplayer, or downloader:
mms://straumod.nrk.no/disk03/Lydverket/2009-03-18/Lydverket_18_03_09_1000_475694_20090318_231400.wmv
The whole show or clip is about 40 minutes, 285MB, but Fever Ray and Röyksopp are in the first 20 minutes of it (plus some sports news and weather in the beginning;).

Opened in one of the mediaplayers. Thanks, it worked. Smile

huge pic of Anneli with Thorbjørn Brundtland in Norwegian newspaper VG today, from yesterday's Copenhagen gig. There's also a live review which says something like, well, hope they'll be better than this for the festival summer.

They're glad to see Anneli though, "Anneli Drecker is the only guest vocalist this time, and a sorely needed human aspect mid-stage, a task she performs with her usual and expected shining in the upper register" - well it doesn't make much more sense in the Norwegian-language version, sorry I can't translate it into something more readable...

Oh, and the reason I bought this rather fowl newspaper was someone told me they had reviewed the Maskindans compilation. No mention of the Bel Canto song, but still good for me! Smile

I was watching some live videos on youtube from the Röyksopp concerts and I noticed that Anneli is masked, while singing certain songs. She wears a very cool mask...Does that mask represent a owl??? I think so.

I read once in an interview, that the owl is like her "talisman" or something like that, so it makes sense.

Yes, it looks like an owl! The Dagbladet article (above) says she's wearing the mask when singing Karin Dreijer's songs, if I'm not mistaken? So maybe Anneli is 'copying' or 'honouring' both Karin's vocals and outfit? Karin is quite fond of wearing masks when she's playing her artist role, and when performing solo as Fever Ray she's also got some kind of Indian/tribal outfit (also as seen in the interview on NRK). Too bad you can't see much of it on the live videos of Fever Ray on Youtube though, the performances are quite dark.

Owls are said to be very wise as well, right? Smile
At least this one here is, which Anneli also [kind of] reminds me of Wink

And thanks for the videos! Smile

Thanks for the links!
Wow, I wish I could have been there.

Anneli's version of "This must be it" is great.
She should have sung the main vocal on the album version! Very Happy
I hope they will make a new EP including all the live performances.
