Check them out here:

She sings "Vision one" + "You don't have a clue" +"True to life".
I am impressed indeed. These tracks are really brilliant. It is not possible to be disappointed by their music. |

"You Don't Have a Clue" is a great title, I haven't checked the song out yet but it's bound to be a smash |

| I've been listening to the streaming on Royksopp's home page and it sounds amazing, I especially like Anneli's influence on their music, it really takes it to another level, A M A Z I N G |

So many beautiful voices in one album!
My favourite songs so far are "Vision One", "The girl and the robot" and "This must be it", but all the other tracks are wonderful as well!
The interview at Lydverket was a little hard to follow though.
I was only listening to their distorted voices. |

I'm not sure if it's a Linux vs Windows thing, but it doesn't work here. (I use Ubuntu). _________________ I am such a peculiar girl

huge pic of Anneli with Thorbjørn Brundtland in Norwegian newspaper VG today, from yesterday's Copenhagen gig. There's also a live review which says something like, well, hope they'll be better than this for the festival summer.
They're glad to see Anneli though, "Anneli Drecker is the only guest vocalist this time, and a sorely needed human aspect mid-stage, a task she performs with her usual and expected shining in the upper register" - well it doesn't make much more sense in the Norwegian-language version, sorry I can't translate it into something more readable...
Oh, and the reason I bought this rather fowl newspaper was someone told me they had reviewed the Maskindans compilation. No mention of the Bel Canto song, but still good for me!

Yes, it looks like an owl! The Dagbladet article (above) says she's wearing the mask when singing Karin Dreijer's songs, if I'm not mistaken? So maybe Anneli is 'copying' or 'honouring' both Karin's vocals and outfit? Karin is quite fond of wearing masks when she's playing her artist role, and when performing solo as Fever Ray she's also got some kind of Indian/tribal outfit (also as seen in the interview on NRK). Too bad you can't see much of it on the live videos of Fever Ray on Youtube though, the performances are quite dark.
Owls are said to be very wise as well, right?
At least this one here is, which Anneli also [kind of] reminds me of

And thanks for the videos! |

Thanks for the links!
Wow, I wish I could have been there.
Anneli's version of "This must be it" is great.
She should have sung the main vocal on the album version!
I hope they will make a new EP including all the live performances. |
