BRILLIANT
OR BORING?
Is
"Turn The Lights Down" irresistible and brilliant
or flat and boring? The critics seem not to agree. Read

THE LIGHTS DOWN: written by Morten and Magne (Photo:

"The
second half [of the album] is a lot weaker than the first.
Well-produced emptiness is not so interesting. However, the
duet with Anneli Drecker, 'Turn The Lights Down', also written
by Harket and Furuholmen, is a ballad one cannot resist. Only
a slightly defensive production can prevent it from being
a large hit." Dagbladet
"'Turn
The Lights Down', which, even with two of the best voices
in the country, Harket and Bel Canto singer Anneli Drecker,
is flat and soporific." Aftenposten
"All
romantics have the ultimate love ballad at their disposal:
'Turn The Lights Down' is a wonderful duet with Morten and
Anneli Drecker - hit guaranteed." Swr3.de
"Anneli
Drecker became a very important part of the Minor Earth
Major Sky tour. Here [on the album] she's got her own duet
with Morten in the brilliant "Turn The Lights Down",
written by Furuholmen/Harket. And Anneli sings exceptionally
well, as always." Spot.no
"We
have arrived at track number 11 when Anneli Drecker appears
in a duet with Morten on the easygoing ballad 'Turn The
Lights Down'. Nice song, no doubt about it, but a bit boringly
arranged by Hague and Landquist, and sounds most of all
like a tune from the Eurovision Song Contest." Panorama.no
