WORLDWIDE SUCCESS: Röyksopp's
debut album
|
The popular TV-series
"Six Feet Under" is nominated for 23 Emmy-Awards
this year and is known for its choice of music. Beside Röyksopp
and Anneli the series use music by PJ Harvey, Lamb, Peggy
Lee, Nina Persson and Stereo MC's, but also Röyksopp's
remix of Kings Of Convenience's "I Don't Know What I
Can Save You From" will be used according to Norwegian
newspaper VG.
Röyksopp's
tracks will be used in the second season of the series.
Things are spinning
fast for Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, the
duo behind Röyksopp. Their new single "Remind
Me" was released just days ago, and the video is heavily
rotated on MTV. The album will also be re-released in a
new and limited edition in the UK tomorrow. They've just
finished a remix of a new Peter Gabriel song, and this fall
they will join Moby as support act on his European tour.
Röyksopp
is also nominated in three categories of this year Muzik
Magazine Dance Awards; As best live act, best newcomer and
best live performance. The award will be presented at Hammersmith
Po Na Na in London October 15.
