Anneli
singing tracks by David Sylvian, David Bowie
and Neil Young? It may sound like a dream to
some of you, and for those it does, the dream
will come true this fall.

RETRO: This
fall you can see Anneli and Anne Grete
Preus sing together for the first time.

Anneli
will participate in a TV-show called Retro on
NRK1, a show where the guests pick their favourite
songs, their own and others. Anneli and Anne Grete
Preus guests the same program that will be aired
this fall (exact date is not set, we'll keep you
updated). The show was recorded a couple of weeks
ago, and annelidrecker.com sneaked around in the
studio. See the photo's below.
The
show opens with Bel Canto's "Shimmering
Warm & Bright", and during the rest
of the program Anneli sings "Ashes To Ashes"
by Bowie, "Black Waters" by Sylvian
and "Wrecking Ball" by Young. She
also does backing vocals of some of the songs
performed by Anne Grete Preus (funny trivia;
Anneli sings backing vocals on Anne Grete's
"Millimeter", which Morten Harket
of a-ha does on the album version!), and she
also sings some lines of Blondie's "Heart
Of Glass" in a medley.
Elisabeth
'Bettan' Andreassen and Ole Jørgen Grønlund,
both well-known artists in Norway host the program.
NB: The show will be edited and some parts may
not be included in the program aired on TV.
