Karma" featuring Anneli.

Startsiden
has several favorites on the album, and reward it four
out of six points. "Listen to songs like 'Summertime's
Gone By', ' Here Come The Stars' or 'The Innocents,
and you will most likely not be disappointed. Nevertheless,
it's the duet 'Kool Karma' with Anneli Drecker that
is the absolute highlight of the album."
Aftenposten
also points out that the collaboration with Anneli
works very well. They give the album their second
highets marks.
"Anneli
Drecker's appearance on 'Kool Karma' is soothing,"
writes Dagbladet. They describe "The Poppy
Rocks" as a combination of chill out and psychedelic
synth pop.
TV2/Nettavisen
also mentions "Kool Karma". "Anneli
Drecker delivers an exceptionally moving duet with
Nick Silitoe from Illumination. This time around the
guys take it all down a bit, and if you need to compare
this to anything, it will have to be David Sylvian's
low key, but poetic, almost etherical universe. This
in spite of the fact that Silitoe and Martinsen are
deeply rooted in the house culture, and that the album
is strongly influenced by eletronica.
Fedrelandsvennen
is not so impressed; their verdict is somewhere around
the middle of their scale. They feel that Per and
Nick should have used more vocalists in addition to
Anneli on this record.
