By 9-45pm The JazzVaka venue was full of people of all age groups eagerly
awaiting Anneli's appearance on stage in this very cozy venue.

Bang on schedule at 10pm Earling Plinga Johansen from JazzVaka appeared on stage to introduce the opening festival concert from our beloved Anneli to
great cheers.

After a short electronic intro the gig kicked off with the lively 'Desire'
which got everybody in the mood for what was to follow.

Anneli was in fine voice through-out & it just reminded us how worthwhile it
was to travel so far to see her.

After the gig my phone rang and it was Ole Vegard Skauge (Bass) who asked us to give Anneli and the Band 10 minutes to cool down & then we could go through and say 'Hi'.

We were lead through into a seating area with drinks and nibbles. I presented
Anneli with a little gift I had made for her to say 'thanks' & then we sat
around chatting for over an hour and a half with everyone.

We talked about music obviously and Anneli was interested in the Anneli -
cover versions thread on the forum - and we had a little sing song of 'The
Visitors' by ABBA which she said she would love to do live!

All in all a fantastic evening - We can't wait til we see her again!
